We support our clients to ensure the effective implementation of their solutions, save costs and achieve social impact with robust evaluation design support.
We use tools such as Evaluability Assessment and Theory of Change to help stakeholders to better evidence the impact of their interventions in a systematic, rapid and cost-effective way.
Our approach is based on the latest research and practice and is designed to provide customised support to enable each client’s programme to achieve its maximum potential.

Collaborative Evaluation Design

We work with you and your stakeholders to co-develop and improve your programme’s or policy’s evaluation design.
We use an approach called Evaluability Assessment to help you work out your interventions.
Stakeholder engagement

We work with you to engage your stakeholders in the evaluation design process in a series of workshops.

Theory of Change

We use a Theory of Change (ToC) approach to help you and your stakeholders to clearly articulate your intervention’s aims and expectations.

Outcomes framework

Using the co-produced ToC, we work with you and your stakeholders to then make sure there is a coherent set of prioritised outcomes linked to your intervention’s activities and outputs.

Key evaluation questions

Based on your prioritised outcomes, we work with you and your stakeholders to formulate the key evaluation questions for your evaluation.

Data requirements

Based on the evaluation questions, we assess what data is required to support the evaluation; whether we can access existing sources of data or may need to collect primary data.

Evaluation design options

We then put together the information from the collaborative workshops and recommend a range of appropriate options for your evaluation.

Our final recommendations and documentation of the process is provided to you in a report.

We can design bespoke training courses in evaluability assessment, theory of change, and other evaluation tools for your organisation.
